which is better to use: crush & run or asphalt driveway (sloped area)

We have a gravel driveway and also need to put in a second driveway.If cost

is not a huge factor, which would be better to use - crush & run or asphalt

Asphalt requires alot of up keep, if you can afford it concrete

will hold up much better. However if you can not afford the concrete

asphalt will hold up better than stone which tends to wash out in heavy

i live in the north east, so gravel isnt an option. i am going to be  
redoing my driveway in the spring, will be installing concrete in the  
areas that we park in (near the garage) the lower section will be asphalt.

asphalt works well in heavy water areas or where its steap.

probably better than blacktop in the long run, blacktop will bust up & get

if done right, concrete can drain well and last the longest.
